It’s Day 6 of the new year and still no new me. Absolutely no motivation. I started the year off with a hangover, which then stopped me from cleaning up the mess from the most amazing night with friends on New Years Eve.
It took me 3 days to eventually completely strip the entire house. I packed away all of the Christmas decorations ready for next year, I spent 2 hours deep cleaning the kitchen and then 8 hours tackling the aftermath of letting off 24 confetti cannons in the house and now it’s Day 6 of the New Year and I’m still finding the odd piece of confetti
I now know what day of the week it is and the house is clean and tidy and yesterday, I got showered and dressed in REAL going out clothes and saw actual people outside and it felt good. Yesterday was my Dads birthday in heaven after he passed away in July and I think I had a little bit of a wakeup call. This is very much a year where I need to be positive. I need to believe that this year will be better, happier, more productive, and that positive changes will be made. I need to begin to manifest what I want toa chieve and believe that I can achieve. I’ve made a conscious decision that tomorrow I WILL be more productive and I WILL try my best to do the jobs that need doing, sort the things that need sorting, catch up on paperwork, emails and make a list of all of the things I want to achieve in 2022
It’s okay if this year didn’t get off to the best start, everyone seems to have Covid or know someone who has it, Christmas and new year messes with everyone, we eat and drink too much and we get used to being in our homes watching films and putting off what we need to do. There is no time limit, but also there is no day like today.
Nobody is perfect and there for, we should not put pressure on ourselves to be perfect. It’s okay to admit when we are struggling or need a bit of motivation.
We have 359 days to achieve our goals for this year butlet’s not remain stuck in a rut and let’s slowly start to get stuck in to a brandnew year and make it the best one we’ve had in a while.
I hope you all had the best Christmas and i wish you all thevery best for the new year
Lots of love, Lee x
