We use our kitchen daily to eat, to read, drink our tea and coffee, sit and snack and where we spend time with family members or thinking time on our own.
The kitchen is a very important part of our daily lives. We need to make sure that the energy in the kitchen is clean, tidy and vibrant. We spend a lot of our waking time in the kitchen and if it lacks light and is soulless then, look at cleaning the windows, the work surfaces the handles of the cupboard doors and drawers.
If they lack shine or you cannot see out of the window symbolically it could mean that you are not “shining your light”. You are not being seen by others for the work you do and not gaining the recognition you deserve. It is now time for you to shine in your home and even duster and polish the wooden surfaces and the chrome.
Give the seats a new lease of life with new cushions and a splash of paint, when you bring vibrant colours into the kitchen it immediately raises the energy vibration of how you feel within yourself and symbolically the food you eat will also taste and digest easily.
Make sure that you create space in the fridge and freezer so its not constantly humming then you also save on electricity and you are also making space for fresh food to be in the kitchen and available to give you vitality, rather than grab unhealthy snacks. When there is space in the fridge you also make space in your life for healthy activities i.e. yoga, gym, meditation, reading, conversation with others, walking, joining a dance class. Activities that make you feel good.
The kitchen is where you can create time with friends and family for eating, discussing your social life and where you catch up with one another at the beginning of the day or the end of the day. When the cooking smells of freshly baked croissants or the freshly made omelet reach your senses, your sensory system kicks in for the day of seeing, smelling, taste, hearing, speaking. It awakens our body to start the day and its great if we can start using our senses at the beginning of the day then we feel alive and awake for the rest of the day.
When we return home we then know that we love our kitchens because we remember the smell from the morning, when there is nothing to awaken our senses then when we come home we can have a feeling of dullness within us. Its good to start cooking straight away and remember to clear away all pots and pans that are used and place in the dishwasher and sink ready for washing and then drying.
When we have a clean, tidy and vibrant kitchen our seeing senses come into play and it makes our sacral energy feel at home with the places we live in daily.
Here are is a list of things to do each day to help raise that vibrant energy within our homes.
• Clear away the breakfast dishes and clean the work surfaces – helps to declutter the mind.
• Have fresh flowers with lots of vibrant colours for your visionary senses
• Have a cooked breakfast even a warm croissant the smell of fresh baked bread is warming to our heart energy bringing harmony into our lives.
• Remove all the old papers and leaflets that are piled up on the kitchen counter that you will never read or use.
