Counsellor BA (Hons), Dip. Clinical Supervision and Consultancy, Prim. Cert CBT, National Advocacy Qualification, Independent Mental Health Advocate (IMHA), Relevant Person’s Representative (RPR, MBACP).
Megan began supporting people who hoard, as well as their family/friends and relevant professionals, during her time running a national charity for people who experience Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She then moved on to focus her attention specifically on hoarding disorders, as she recognised this was an area of Mental Health in which discriminatory practice was common and there was a distinct lack of support.
Now with more than fifteen years’ experience of supporting people affected by hoarding behaviour, Megan is committed to increasing choice and control for the charity’s participants while ensuring the professionals are empowered to provide appropriate and effective interventions.
