Helen Neale is the heart and soul behind KiddyCharts, a platform that offers resources and advice to parents, schools, and children. Her journey began in January 2012 when she decided to use her unique expertise to help improve behaviour and motivate children to develop new skills. As a proud parent of two, Helen's experience with parenting is as real and personal as it gets. She understands the joys and challenges that come with raising children, and she brings this understanding into every resource she creates for KiddyCharts.
But Helen's expertise goes beyond just parenting. She is a qualified counsellor, which gives her a unique perspective on child development and behaviour. This background has played a significant role in shaping the resources and advice available on KiddyCharts, ensuring they are not only practical but also psychologically sound.
A significant part of Helen's journey includes her experiences with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She is currently experiencing her own diagnosis journey, and has volunteered with Place2Be, MIND and Childline, further enhancing her understanding of counselling and supporting children and adults with life's challenges. This experience has imbued her with a deep empathy for parents and beyond, and she uses this knowledge to provide resources that are sensitive, supportive, and helpful.
Helen's passion for helping others extends beyond KiddyCharts. She is also a social media marketer, using her skills to reach more parents and children who could benefit from the resources she provides. Her social media platforms are a testament to her commitment to educating, entertaining, and organising.
In all her work, Helen maintains a gentle and compassionate tone, recognising that every family's journey is unique and sometimes challenging. She is dedicated to making KiddyCharts a safe and supportive space for all parents and their children.
