My name’s Chris. I’m a book author who created a mental health book for children, That’s Okay.
This colourful guide helps children learn how to identify emotions so they can communicate with their parents, teachers or anyone else who supports them.
It also aims to teach emotional awareness and combat the stigma of talking about mental health.
That’s Okay has been particularly effective in a SEN environment, helping neurodivergent children understand their feelings.
Following the positive feedback of the book, I have created more publications, specifically for mental health and the environment - from guided meditation for children to an emotions book for teens and adults.
I have always enjoyed illustration and have an interest in helping others with their mental health after facing my own struggles.
